What is a Thai amulet?
A Thai amulet (พระเครื่อง, phra khrueang) is a small sacred object consecrated by a Buddhist monk in Thailand. Worn close to the body or kept on a home altar, Thai amulets represent the meeting point of Theravada Buddhism, Brahmanic ritual, and centuries of Thai temple craft. Collectors prize them for their lineage, the temple of consecration, the consecration ceremony (puttaphisek), the materials used, and the era of the monk who blessed them.
The most celebrated categories include Phra Somdej — often called the King of Thai amulets, created by Somdej Toh of Wat Rakang; Phra Pidta, the closed-eye Buddha of protection and purity; Phra Khun Paen for metta, charm, and influence; and rare ceremonial amulets such as Taowesuwan, Nang Kwak, and Takrut talismans.
Revered masters represented in our collection include Somdej Toh of Wat Rakang, Luang Phor Koon of Wat Ban Rai, Luang Pu Thuad of Wat Chang Hai, Luang Phor Kuay of Wat Kositaram, Luang Phor Mui of Wat Don Rai, Luang Phor Pae of Wat Pikulthong, and many more across 194 documented monk biographies. Every piece in Thai Amulets Collection is authenticated, photographed in full detail, and accompanied by lineage documentation — so you understand exactly what you are receiving.
