Phra Buddha Chinnarat Wat Sao Thong Thong Amulet
The Phra Buddha Chinnarat amulet from Wat Sao Thong Thong is one of the earliest known amulets in Thailand featuring the sacred image of Phra Buddha Chinnarat in small format. Created during the late 19th century (around BE2430–2440 / 1897 AD), these amulets were consecrated in a grand ceremony by Luang Pu Perm, abbot of Wat Sao Thong Thong, together with Luang Por Niam of Wat Noi and Luang Por Nong of Khlong Madan Temple.

Purpose of Creation
These amulets were created to perpetuate the teachings of the Buddha and to spread blessings among devotees. Some were installed on the ceiling of the temple chapel, while others were distributed to villagers for spiritual protection.
