In B.E. 2504 (1961), the highly respected monk Chao Khun Sri (Phra Ratchawetmunee) of Wat Ang Sila, Chonburi, created a spiritually powerful batch of Phra Pidta amulets known as Nak Klam Yai Lang Yant Krabok, meaning “large curled-arm Pidta with cylindrical-script yant on the reverse.” This batch was made from Nur Wahn, a sacred herbal powder mixture long associated with protection, metta, and spiritual resilience.
Chao Khun Sri, also known as CK Sri, is widely regarded as one of Thailand’s top five Phra Pidta masters, alongside Luang Pu Toh of Wat Pradoochimplee, Luang Pu Iam of Wat Saphan Sung, Luang Pu Kaew of Wat Kong, and Luang Pu Jong of Wat Natangnok. His mastery of Pidta consecration and deep meditative practice made his creations especially effective and revered.
The amulet features Phra Pidta in a classic curled-arm posture, with the back bearing the Yant Krabok, a vertical sacred script symbolizing protection and power. The sacred Nur Wahn used to mold these amulets was made from more than 108 types of herbs, flowers, and temple-purified materials, many of which were collected from previous sacred events. This powder was believed to possess properties of invulnerability, loving-kindness, fortune, and black magic resistance.
Chao Khun Sri personally supervised the creation process. He inscribed and empowered each mold with ancient scripts and personally chanted over the base materials. The consecration ceremony followed traditional Ayutthaya-era ritual frameworks. The process included 108-day chanting cycles, daily recitation of important protective mantras such as Katha Maha Ut, Katha Pidta, and Katha Itipiso, and regular group meditation led by regional monks. The amulets were empowered in stages within the ubosot of Wat Ang Sila, where they were left to absorb the spiritual energy of the continuous chanting and meditative focus.
The Phra Pidta Nak Klam Yai Lang Yant Krabok BE2504 is renowned for its ability to provide comprehensive spiritual protection (Kongkraphan), safety from accidents (Klaew Klaad), success in business and career (Choke Laap), and increased personal charm (Metta Maha Niyom). Its spiritual potency is trusted by devotees seeking strength, protection, and freedom from harm.
This specific batch has been certified by Thaprachan, affirming its authenticity, age, material, and origin. With increasing rarity and strong collector demand, this amulet has become one of the most coveted Pidta pieces from the mid-20th century.
