Purpose of Creation

Phra Somdej Pim Than Khu Lang Yant was created as a sacred offering to commemorate the spiritual renovation and religious revival at Wat Rachayotha during the late 19th century. The amulets were blessed to support:

  • The prosperity and spiritual protection of the Buddhist community

  • Fundraising for temple restoration and ordination hall repairs

  • Providing merit and blessings to laypeople who supported the temple

  • Ensuring the continued transmission of sacred wicha (knowledge) from the lineage of Somdej Toh and other great masters

This batch was created under the supervision and consecration of Luang Pu Thong, who was then regarded as a senior meditation monk with deep esoteric knowledge.

Key Features

Pim Than Khu (Double Base Mold)

The front depicts the Buddha seated in a meditative posture atop a two-tiered base. The lines are finely detailed, reflecting expert craftsmanship and balance.

Lang Yant (Reverse Inscription)

The reverse side of the amulet contains sacred yantra inscriptions such as Yant Trinisinghe or Yant Ma-A-U, believed to enhance protective powers, spiritual invincibility, and luck.

Sacred Composition

The amulet was composed of holy materials such as:

  • Pong Patamang (sacred incantation powder)

  • Pong Ittijae and Pong Trinisinghe

  • Crushed old amulets

  • Flower pollen and powdered herbs

  • Earth from sacred grounds

These ingredients were meticulously blended and consecrated through traditional chanting and meditation ceremonies.
