1. Background and Purpose
This Pump (statue) of Luang Pu Moon (also spelled Lp Mun) was created to honor the legacy of one of Thailand’s greatest forest meditation monks and to commemorate his profound contributions to Vipassana and ascetic practice. The amulet was designed in his likeness, reflecting his serene and ascetic demeanor.

Luang Pu Mun Bhuridatta Thera (1870–1949) is revered as the father of Thailand’s forest meditation tradition and teacher to countless legendary monks including Luang Pu Fan, Luang Pu Waen, and others.

This batch was specially created to preserve his Dhamma teachings and generate merit for temple development and meditation retreat facilities in Sisaket and surrounding provinces.
