Phra Kham Khao Roon 2, Phra Bat Khit Block BE2534

Consecrated by Luang Phor Ruesi Lingdam (LP Ruesi Lingdam), Wat Tha Sung, Uthai Thani Province

Background and Origin

The Phra Kham Khao (Second Batch), specifically the Phra Bat Khit block, was created in Buddhist Era 2534 (1991) under the direction of Luang Phor Ruesi Lingdam, the revered abbot of Wat Tha Sung. This batch was released following the success of the first generation of Phra Kham Khao amulets and was intended to support the temple’s construction projects and to continue the spiritual legacy of LP Ruesi Lingdam.

Amulet Name Significance

  • Phra Kham Khao refers to the Buddha image in the sitting posture (samadhi) over rice grain motif, symbolic of abundance and spiritual nourishment.

  • The “Phra Bat Khit” block refers to a special mold type associated with divine footprints or auspicious yantras engraved or impressed onto the rear surface.

Material Composition

This sacred batch was made using a special blend of Phong Wahn Saan Phra Khun, Phong Bailan, and other auspicious powder substances collected by LP Ruesi Lingdam over many years. These included:

  • Powdered ancient scriptures

  • Crushed herbs with known metaphysical properties

  • Soil from sacred sites

  • Ash from candle wax and incense used in major religious ceremonies

Consecration Ceremony

A major Puttha Pisek (Buddha Abhiseka) blessing ceremony was held in BE2534 at Wat Tha Sung, which was attended by multiple high-ranking monks and disciples. LP Ruesi Lingdam led the empowerment and meticulously oversaw the chanting and invocation of sacred katha during the entire process.

The ceremony followed traditional Thai Buddhist ritual guidelines:

  • Incantations of protective and sacred mantras

  • Lighting of consecration candles

  • Recitation of katha and Pali verses to invite deities and blessings

  • Use of sacred yantras and geometry in alignment with Thai mystical cosmology

Spiritual Properties

Phra Kham Khao Roon 2 is widely known for its powers of:

  • Metta Mahaniyom (loving-kindness and likability)

  • Klaew Klaad (evasion from dangers)

  • Maha Lap (great luck and wealth)

  • Protection against illness, accidents, and evil influences

Many devotees have reported real-life miracles, including improved fortune, resolution of difficult personal or business matters, and safety during critical situations.

Design and Features

  • Front: Buddha image seated in samadhi on a platform resembling grains of rice

  • Back: Inscribed with Khmer yantras, including the Phra Bat Khit sacred footprint-style impression

  • Some versions embedded with Takrut for enhanced power

  • Blessed individually and collectively through repeated chanting cycles

Current Status and Collectibility

This batch is regarded as one of the most sacred and powerful Phra Kham Khao editions, especially being the last few major batches before LP Ruesi Lingdam’s health declined. It holds great value among seasoned collectors and devotees who follow the lineage of Wat Tha Sung and the Vipassana teachings of LP Ruesi Lingdam.

The amulet is increasingly rare, with strong demand in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, and continues to be used for its protective and wealth-bringing attributes.
